For my paper, my participants will consist of 10 random IUP students whom happen to choose to fill out the survey I plan to hand out. Also, I plan to give my survey to 1 Comp Sci professor that teaches at IUP. I plan to ask them a set of questions that will delve into their knowledge about hackers motivations. I want to see what common college kids these days know and think what the motivations are of hackers. Then I plan to compare those to the educated knowledge of a Comp Sci professor’s answers to what are the motivations of hackers. As for privacy, I don’t think anyone will want their names hidden because my subject isn’t controversial.
